Last night we had our last GEMS meeting with our girls group at church. We had a Mother Daughter Tea for our last event and it was such a fun night. I was one of the counselors for the 7th/8th grade girls. We had four girls in our group and we had such a great time with them. It's really neat to see these girls growing and maturing into wonderful, Godly women. It's been amazing to be apart of that. I got up towards the end of the night and talked about all the different things we did this past year and then we gave the graduating 8th graders a special gift - rings with our verse for the year on them. It was a happy ending to the year, but really sad that I won't be able to be apart of their group next year since we will be moving this Summer. I got a little teary eyed thinking about that and how I'm going to miss getting together with them. The verse for the year is great way to end this post: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4:6.
