9 months old - He is getting so big!

He thought he was pretty funny!
We took 77 pictures just to get a few good ones. It isn't very easy to get a 9 month old to look at the camera and smile when he is more interested in the plants and the grass and everything else that is around him. All he wants to do is crawl around and explore...he doesn't understand that his mommy and his auntie are trying to get a nice picture of him. I wonder if it will get easier as he gets older or more difficult? I'm just amazed at how fast he is growing up. Each stage is so fun, but I do miss his infant days when he fit on my chest all curled up in a ball. He is getting too active to cuddle with mommy these days. I'll just keep treasuring those moments I get because as everyone keeps saying...time will go by and before you know it they are in high school or married....I can't even imagine that yet.

Hey, there are stages where it is so hard to get good pictures, thankfully there are digital cameras! Enjoy each stage, (I try to)then it doesn't seem to go by so fast.

Um, Rachael, I think the comment above was Kev. Just ignore it. WE totally understand that you are busy and have a half a million things to do. SOME people are just a little too impatient......
I'm sure he kept it anonymous because if I knew it was him I could just say the same thing back...he doesn't post that often either. Has he even come up with a new blog title? :)
Oh and I'm leaving for Iowa tomorrow and will be back on Monday. I'll have some things to post about when I get back :) Today I'm too busy doing laundry and packing and babysitting a little boy 2 mos younger than Isaac :)

In spite of my wife insisting that I was the above anonymous poster, that was not I. This is actually the first time I've taken time to look at your blog (good job, by the way). I've been too busy adding oil to my car and doing yardwork to be able to get on here. So, you're going to have to find out just who that anonymous poster was. Perhaps it was Joe, trying to stir up controversy and increase readership here. Oh yeah, it's been 3 years...time for you guys to move back out here.
Yes, my dear husband did post that comment. After I confronted him last night about it, he started laughing and admitted to it. Sorry Pastor Kevin for accusing you of such a thing. If you can get the cost of living to decrease in WA and/or find Joe a well paying job...we may think about moving back. We do miss that area a lot. Plus Joe is currently looking for a new job after this school year. We may come and visit you next Spring/Summer (at least that is what Joe was saying might be a possibility). We shall see.
