Lots goin' on...

So much is going on here lately that I don't even know where to begin....
We've had a wonderful 4th of July weekend with our family. Went to my brothers house on Saturday for a cookout, Sunday & Monday spent with the Venema side. We had lots of fun.
We move to Chattanooga 2 weeks from today. Needless to say, we have LOTS of packing to do yet. My last day of work was Saturday, so now I can concentrate on getting the packing finished. We are looking forward to living in Chattanooga, but it's going to be so hard to say good-bye to everyone here in DeMotte. Plus we will be living much farther away from our family...so that's going to be hard not being as involved in their lives as we are now. Thankfully Mom & Dad V. are coming to visit mid-August so that will be nice to see them soon after we move.
Seth is already 3-1/2 months old...where does the time go? He's getting to be so big already. Quite the little chunky boy. He's such a smiley boy and such a blessing to our family. Joe's sister had a baby 1-1/2 weeks ago. It's amazing to see how big Seth is compared to him.
In the past few weeks we've gone to the zoo, went to Michigan, had great grandma come for a visit, and probably a few other things I'm forgetting... it's all quite a blur right now.
Hope you all enjoyed the holiday weekend. Tomorrow it will be back to reality for us and getting more stuff packed and ready to go.
I'll post some pictures whenever things slow down a bit (although, does life ever slow down after you have kids???).

Hmmm, does life slow down after you have kids? Not with littles!! This is just a busy time for you. You are moving and you have a tiny baby!!! It is difficult. But, if anyone can do it and come out grinning, it's you!

I remember when we had a farewell dinner for you and Joe. Before you had Isaac. I'm glad that we kept up with each other, even if it is just by email and FB and blogs. Keep up your blog, I'd love to see how the boys are growing, how you are settling into your new living arrangements.
