Senior Pictures

I recently had the opportunity to take senior pictures of a daughter of a friend of mine. Thankfully the rain stayed away and the sun came out a bit. It was a chilly afternoon but I think we got a lot of good pictures. I had a lot of fun with all the different poses and different outfits. We even ended it with a few pictures of her jumping on the trampoline. That gave us all a good laugh. If you want to go through all 186 photos you can click on this link.

Hey Rachael - wanted to ask you about the work you did on the pictures. Did you use PS or PSE? Which method did you use to turn b&w and how did you create your vignettes? I'm learning there are many ways to do things and each has a slightly different effect. I like the dark contrast of your b&w's, especially on the ones where she is wearing white. With her dark hair it's gorgeous. I've been working on our Christmas picture and I think for that it needs to be a paler b&w - less contrast - but it's a beach picture. Anyway, I was just curious.
