I've recently completed some sewing projects. I have to admit that I am not an avid sewer and have just recently tackled a few things I thought were easy enough for me to handle. The first is a towel with a little hood and the second item is a little snugly blanket that is small enough to take with and stuff in a diaper bag instead of carrying a big blanket around (it's especially nice for kids that are attached to their blankies and need a little something to hang on to). Both were a gift for a friend that is due to have a baby girl on Christmas Eve.

Nice work Rachael!
Awesome, Rachael! I'm a seamstress-wanna-be, so I'm jealous of your completed project!
CUTE project! And nice work, too. I love getting projects done, it's a great feeling to make it yourself.
Are ya thinking about your next project? I find sewing very addictive, in a good way!;-)
I actually just did a project last night ( a friend needed her son's costume taken in...never done anything like that before, but it was easier than I thought. Now hopefully it fits :)
I also sewed crib guards for Isaac's crib so he would stop chewing the wood. I like how that turned out also. Next project is recovering my kitchen chair seats and I'm doing that today. I'd love to get the instructions on how to make the bags you made and the little sewing things. Enjoy your last few days in Hawaii!
